Attorney John Gosselin

John focuses on Elder Crisis Law (SM), asset protection related to MassHealth qualification, and trustee and other fiduciary services. While in law school, he clerked for the Hon. Martha Sosman before she was appointed to the Supreme Judicial Court. John served for many years as a Public Administrator for Middlesex County. With over 20 years in Elder Law practice, John brings the experience needed to guide clients through all aspects of estate planning, trust administration and elder law matters.

John is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and is fluent in French. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, New Hampshire Bar Association, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA).

Attorney Despina Kyriakidis

Despina has over 20 years of experience in probate matters, including trust administration, estate taxation, and litigation. Through strong advocacy, she provides the support families need to navigate the probate court system through what is often the most emotionally difficult time of their lives.

Despina is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New York, and is fluent in Greek. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the New York Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.

Attorney Kathleen Day Paradis

Kathy has provided high level client service in the areas of Trust and Estate Administration for over 20 years. Prior to joining Gosselin & Kyriakidis, she worked for many years in the Private Client Group of Ropes & Gray, LLP in Boston, building client-family relationships while utilizing knowledge and experience in the use of trusts and estate planning to carry out clients’ objectives. Kathy serves as a compassionate advisor in assisting clients through the Probate process.

Attorney Rachel McCaw

Rachel is admitted to practice in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where she earned her degree in Legal Studies while interning with Justice Judd J. Carhart of the Massachusetts Appeals Court. During her time in law school, she interned with Judge Walter R. Stone of the Rhode Island Superior Court while focusing her studies around trusts and estates as well as elder law.

John Hope

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Attorney John Hope on April 19, 2018. John was a wonderful colleague and friend and he will be sorely missed by all of us at Hope  Law. 

Darwin Aussie, Canine Counselor

Darwin Aussie is an AKC registered Red Tricolor Australian Shepherd. Darwin works hard to be an aide to clients in difficult situations by providing a calm and gentle presence. Darwin assists Attorney Gosselin in both office and in-home consultations. If you would rather not include Darwin in your meeting please just let us know, he will understand. And, Darwin’s salary is paid in kind words and ear scratches.
